Description
Bad of the heart named after the freestyle song was designed to reflect love. The two Ss making the shape of the heart and vibrant vice city colors share that finding love can be like searching for a hidden treasure, and in Miami you may need to slow down and look beyond the colors and lights that cover the city. I chose to go with the roses because it is the iconic symbol for love, and it was a great choice to blend inside the S. Going with the vice colors fit perfectly with the Miami theme and makes the design really stand out. The heart symbol with soft floral patterns, reflects the brand’s mission of blending boldness with elegance. The roses, a symbol of both love and strength, are a nod to Miami’s rich cultural diversity, representing the beauty and resilience of its people. The contrasting pink and blue hues echo the Miami sunsets and the deep blues of ocean drive creating a visual homage to the city’s natural wonders and lively energy. Slick wanted to create a piece that transcends the typical streetwear aesthetic, aiming to represent the complexity of human connection and the contrasting yet harmonious forces of love, toughness, and individuality. This design stands as a statement that whether you’re on the Miami streets or on a global adventure, there’s beauty and strength in embracing both your soft and strong sides.
