  • All file types are accepted, please make sure the file uploaded has a transparent background.
  • Resolution should be 300 DPI for maximum image quality.
  • Size of gang sheet needs to be 22 inches wide x 36 inches length
Pressing Instructions

Pressing Instructions

For achieving the best DTF transfer results with Hollywood Prints DTF Gang Sheet, follow these simple five steps:

  • Skip Pre-Pressing: No need to pre-press and remove the moisture. You only need to pre-press if desired. (If you do pre-press, a recommended time of 5 seconds on the heat mentioned below works.)
  • Perfect Alignment: Take your time positioning your transfer on your desired location. While heat-resistant tape is usually unnecessary, it’s recommended for hats or other hard to reach applications. Heat-resistant tape will help you achieve the best results when feeling uneasy about it not feeling secure on the garment.
  • Apply Heat: Press at 320°F / 160°C for 15 seconds with medium pressure. There’s no risk of damaging the transfer with more heat, pressure, or time within reason. However, excessive heat may harm your garment, so always test first and use parchment paper or a protective sheet to shield your garment.
  • Cool and Peel: Let the transfer cool for at least 15 seconds or a few minutes, depending on the film choice, before gently peeling it off. It’s ideal to wait until the transfer is cool to touch if a timer is not readily available. If any part of the design doesn’t transfer, adjust pressure, time, or temperature accordingly.
  • Final Press and Wash Instructions: Cover the design with parchment paper or a single layer of t-shirt material and press again for 15 seconds. For a glossy finish, use a protective guard sheet. When washing, flip the shirt inside out, wash on cold, and dry using low heat or hang dry.

Following these steps ensures consistently professional DTF transfers with Hollywood Prints.

 

Household irons do NOT work. Even The Cricut press has trouble as it cannot provide adequate pressure.

DTF prints on CMYK colors never to be compared to screen printing colors as this is a different process.
